Day #3: What Hobbies Do You Enjoy?
Since moving to Georgia, I’ve actually been trying to make more time for my hobbies. I’ve always enjoyed memory keeping and documenting our family life through scrapbooking. Up until the last few years it was all on paper, but since we move so often I’ve taken a greater interest in digital-scrapbooking.
I also love to cook and enjoy making homemade meals for our family. My ideal night would be sharing a delicious dinner with family and friends, outdoors in the backyard, complete with cafe lights and all.
As a child I loved to read and could be found curled up way past my bedtime with a good read, or soaking in the bathtub with a good book. After college, for years I was “burnt out” by required reading and have only recently rekindled this passion. In 2017 I think I read about 6 books total, and in the month of March 2018 alone I’ve already finished 5 books!
I also enjoy being crafty and next up on my list is to take a pottery class – I’m hoping to make it happen soon!
