Day #2: Where Were You Born?
I was born in Hawaii – specifically on the Big Island, in Kailua Kona, and lived there till I was 18. Most people associate Kona with either Kona Coffee or the Ironman Triathlon, but there is so much more to my beautiful island!
And how many towns can boast that people have actually written a song about it? I must’ve been in middle school when Ho’aikane released this song about my beloved hometown and the tune will forever be engrained in my mind.
